Hewlett-Packard CM8050/8060 Color MFPs with Edgeline Technology

Edgeline Technology eliminates energy-consuming fusers and reduces
color ink consumption by allowing users to choose the level
of ink saturation (picture quality) they need. The ink cartridges
can be recycled through Hewlett-Packard's Planet Partners recycling

Edgeline is an ink-based printing engine designed with printheads
that span the width of a page. In other words, the paper moves,
not the printhead. Less moving parts and a simple, non-contact
writing system result in 30-40% fewer service visits than leading
multi-function devices.
At the same time, Edgeline also incorporates AutoNav, a full-function video guide that shows users how to clear jams and replace consumables. Even changing the cartridges is so easy and clean that anyone can do it. This results in fewer help desk calls and higher user satisfaction which means greater up time and lower costs.
Fast printing speeds...
For increased printing speeds, Edgeline printers use large, stationary printheads that are arranged in a line to dispense ink across the entire width of the page as the paper passes beneath them. This means more accurate ink-drop placement and breathtaking print speeds for crisp, print-shop quality output.
Edgeline enables you to print a wide range of common business documents at an average speed of 60 pages per minute (ppm) black-and-white and 50 ppm color with the HP CM8060 Color MFP, and an average of 50 ppm black-and-white and 40 ppm color with the HP CM8050 Color MFP.

Edgeline also allows for the greatest ink usage flexibility
of any similar device. It gives you the ability to choose among
Professional color, General Office color, and Accent color.
Because of Edgeline's exclusive multi-tiered color usage model,

Edgeline's Easy Select Control Panel features a 10-inch, color touch-screen that clearly displays all available applications and settings, allowing users to quickly and easily navigate through the menu. And integrated send-to-e-mail and to-folder, as well as embedded OCR scanning, come standard.
Meanwhile, HP Web Jetadmin 10.0 is a simple, Web-based peripheral management utility for remotely installing, configuring, and managing a wide variety of HP and non-HP network peripherals. Through a standard Web browser, you can configure devices, conduct remote diagnostics, set up automatic e-mail alerts, and solve potential problems before they impact user productivity.
